Tahsin is an Arabic word that means "To Improve, To Enhance, To Enrich". Project Tahsin is an initiative to help save the environment by reducing textile waste and at the same time, empower and make the individuals of a community self-reliant. The motto behind instituting Project Tahsin was to help and foster mother nature by taking the edge off with thumping textile waste generated daily. Via mapping this project, we intend to curate and mould new products using Katran, which refers to small pieces of unused cloth, and offer a range of products on a wide spectrum including scrunchies, tote bags, earrings etc. The ambit of Project Tahsin encompasses enabling the community of resource-deprived women to become self-reliant. 

We strive to connect the impoverished sectors of the society in order for them to flourish and prosper towards a financially independent life while implementing a balanced life by adapting to a proactive lifestyle. Our vision scopes to impart dexterous skillset, work information, and financial succour blending with emotional assistance to people who want to pursue a career in textile-based products. With our project Tahsin we try to pierce two social issues with a single arrow and provide assistance to our best possibilities.
