What started as a dream for Enactus VIPS became a very fruitful reality in the year 2020 with a twist. Aaveg’20, the annual fest of Enactus VIPS started it’s preparation as a Campus fest but due to the pandemic, everything came to a standstill. When there was no silver lining on a cloudy day, Our team went looking for it, with their eagerness and dedication didn’t lose hope. From scratch again, preparations began again. The only change? It became a digital fest. First ever digital fest in the history of GGSIPU. From Aaveg’20 to e-Aaveg’20, a digital transition came forward. In terms of enthusiasm, energy and commitment, it still was unmatched.
AAVEG
During the pandemic when everyone was fighting a battle of their own, Enactus VIPS came with its first-ever mental health wellness campaign, Coping-Unplugged to help people connect with their inner peace. Ensuing upon our theme of finding the chaos within the calm, we adopted a form of therapy which entailed the provision of a “Safe Space” under the guidance of renowned professionals. "Creative Detox", Art therapy was conducted with an idea to promote healing by using creative artmaking and visual art media. It aimed to resolve issues, manage stress, behavior and feelings, improving self- awareness

UNPLUGGED
What began as an Instagram post of a much-awaited parade, became a full-fledged celebration on our virtual platforms during the pride month on 20th June 2021. Enactus VIPS not only conducted a virtual pride parade but also provided a stage for all the members of the LGBTQ community to share their affinity with one another. The Pride Parade is organised every year in the month of June and is all about promulgating acceptance and educating pride history; but above all, preach the essence of love and humanity. Several campaigns and drives are held to spread awareness regarding the devastating effects of a concept as inane as homophobia.
